Thursday 13th April, 7.30pm – Younger Hall – Music Society Symphony Orchestra

Award-winning pianist Viv McLean returns to perform Tchaikovsky’s magisterial First Piano Concerto with the Symphony Orchestra of the University of St Andrews Music Society. Conducted by Chris George (former leader of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra), the orchestra will also bring to an end its cycle of Dvořák’s late symphonies with his “From the New World”, one of the most vibrant works in the symphonic repertoire.

Admission: £8, £5 (students), £3 MusSoc members, FREE to under 12s

(exact date tbc) November 2017, 7.30pm – Younger Hall – University Music Society Concert Wind Band and Big BUStA

Tuesday 25th April, 7.30pm – Union Main Stage – Ukulear Fusion and Society Singers

With a theme of ‘adventure,’ come along to hear some great hits performed by our Ukulele band and Society Singers. Repertoire is to include Go the Distance and Defying Gravity.
